Retrospective of Chanel Fall Haute Couture shows

Show me a girl, or a boy, that loves fashion and doesn’t crave to have something made of tweed or fine leather with the infamous CC branding and I will personally call them a liar. The genius that is Karl Lagerfeld has, since he took on the role of the head designer for Chanel back in 1983, been creating breathtaking collections. It takes a lot of creativity to come up with ready to wear, resort, pre-fall, haute couture all in one year and mind you no collection is under 70 pieces. Add to that magnificent runways put together by Mr Lagerfeld and you just must respect him as an artist and a creative director. I admire his imagination and can cannot wait to see what he has in mind for the upcoming Fall 2015 couture show next week.

To celebrate his craftsmanship and to make your mind tickle with excitement for what we will be seeing next week, here is a quick retrospective of his last 4 Fall Couture collections and runway sets and what he created for the last Spring Couture show for which it took 6 months to make the 300 flowers, each with their own engine to make the set.
