When fantasizing about an ideal day off in my favorite city of Dubai, many things come to mind. For me personally, it involves the Movie Theater, shopping and a nice place to relax with a warm beverage. There is one particularly magical place in Dubai to combine all of those beloved activities and much more; of course the one and only Dubai Mall. It is not only a hot spot for tourists; expats and locals enjoy the biggest mall in the Middle East very much as well. As much as I love the iconic mall, it is nice to be able to collect oneself to some tranquility after rejoicing in some retail therapy. I have, in case you have not been there before, a lovely spot to introduce to you. Right next to the incredibly famous Dubai Mall Fountains you will see a beautiful turquoise building: Fortnum & Mason. From there you cannot only watch the popular water feature dance, but also enjoy on of the best views at the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa.

And, because of its perfectly situated location, you can always go back to the ravishing quarters of the Dubai Mall if you feel like you have charged your batteries enough for some more motion.
