SUSTAINABILITY – BRAZILIAN BRAND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NGO TRANSFORMS CANVASES AND FISHING NET DISCARDED IN THE SEA.

Sustainability stopped being the talk of dreamy ideologists to become an important need.

Today with so many actions that increasingly unbalance the environment, the “recycling” stopped being a word to transform into an action.

Thinking about it the Brazilian brand Santa Costura de Todos Panos in partnership with the NGO Mar Limpo are developing clothes made with canvases and fishing nets that were discarded in the ocean.

The brand’s idea is to bring ecological awareness to consumers and keep the sea cleaner.

For Gabriele Meirelles who already is designer of the brand that also works with Slow Fashion, to enter into this type of recyclable universe was a great challenge.

Gabriele makes a point of keeping the marks left on the canvases, after all they are part of the fabric story that turns into pants, skirts, shorts and blazers with unique identity.

The collection entitled Mar limpo (Clean Sea) has been widely accepted and promises to bring a reflection about conscious consumption.
