B&B Italia Milan Design Week 2017

The B&B Italia presentation at the Store in Via Durini, one of the most historical design streets in Milan, involved an entire home with brand new creations for living, night and outdoor areas, as well as the kitchen setting. The presentation introduced designs by Monica Armani, Mario Bellini, Antonio Citterio, Naoto Fukasawa and Piero Lissoni. These designers were responsible for such creations as sofa systems, chairs, tables, beds, storage units and other complements.

Citterio’s collections make a prominent appearance this year with his Maxalto collections including tables, chairs and storage units, and his outdoor projects: the Ray Outdoor Fabric and Ray Outdoor Natural seating systems, the Erica series, and the Ginestra family of tables and chairs.

“The new proposals are the result of a complex creative process, and an expression of the extraordinary path that turns an idea into a product of design.” – B&B Italia

Along with all the upcoming projects on display, B&B Italia also celebrated their 20 year anniversary of the Charles sofa by Antonio Citterio. This was celebrated by an installation signed Migliore & Servetto Architects, and a new collaboration with Piero Lissoni’s signature Sake; a seating system designed for light weight. The Charles sofa was presented, framed by a graphic scenic backdrop, surrounded by history, with its elegance and balance, it represents a constant.
