Buccellati Holding Italia is a Chinese-owned Italian jewelry and watches company.
“In December 2016, China’s Gansu Gangtai Holding Group bought a controlling 85% share in Buccellati”
formed by the merger of previous companies with existing brands Mario Buccellati and Gianmaria Buccellati.

Mario Buccellati was born in Ancona.
In 1919 Mario Buccellati opened his activity and, after the establishment of stores in Rome, Milan and Florence, he began the development of overseas business by opening a new store on the Fifth Avenue of New York in 1954 and another in Worth Avenue of Palm Beach.
In 1973 Gianmaria Buccellati, with a group of professional colleagues,
found the Italian Gemological Institute (IGI),
which he is the President of.
In 2004 Buccellati organizes the world preview of the Animalier collection
in Milan, composed of 28 animal brooches created
around extraordinary baroque pearls.

The Buccellati family held a lot of exhibitions, one of the most successful ones is
the exhibition “Buccellati, Timeless Art” is inaugurated at The State Museum
of Moscow Kremlin. It is the first ever exhibition dedicated to
a still living jeweler.
Also, Gianmaria Buccellati creates the “Gianmaria Buccellati Foundation”,
on which he bestows his private collection of ornamental cups and jewels,
some of his father’s creations and drawings made by himself and his father.

the artistic collaboration between Andrea
and his daughter Lucrezia becomes stronger:
they conceive together the five one-of-a-kind creations inspired by impressionist
and post-impressionist paintings on display during the event, that held in the New York store, under name the “Timeless Blue”.

The Buccellati style remains tightly linked to the art world thanks to
the exhibition of the Gianmaria Buccellati Foundation.
