British leather goods brand Aspinal of London have announced further expansion plans in the Middle East with the launch of a new pop-up and permanent store in Dubai Mall scheduled to open early July 2018. Situated on the ground floor of Fashion Avenue, the pop-up opened May 21st 2018 housed within an innovative, giant walk-in trunk design, based on the brand’s popular line of bags inspired by travel. Opening as an overture to the launch of Aspinal of London’s permanent store, the pop-up will sell a series of exclusive, specially developed trunk bags.
Early July the brand will officially launch their fifth store in the Middle East with the opening of a 1200 square foot store in Dubai Mall. The new store will feature two walls of floating shelves showcasing the brand’s trunk and hatbox collections, plus a “library” room at the back of the store which will contain a personalisation machine, circular cash desk with bar stools, elegant chandeliers and frieze mouldings. Alongside Aspinal of London’s latest and classic ranges, the store will also carry an exclusive range of water snake Trunks.
This new opening marks the start of a renewed period of development for the brand in the Middle East, with a further five planned openings across the Middle East between 2019 and 2021. The brand also currently operates three stand-alone stores, located at Avenues Mall Kuwait, Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi and Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi, plus a concession within Robinsons department store in Festival City, Dubai.
