Art has and always will run through the veins of Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris. It has its own dedicated art gallery, art concierge and the whole property is adorned with an eclectic mix of artistic creations. To coincide with Paris Fashion Week, the Parisian palace , Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris and Art Photo Expo Production are celebrating fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld with a new art exhibition, “Lagerfeld, the Chanel Shows,” which will feature the unpublished photographs from Simon Procter.
This collection is a tribute to the most respected and emblematic designer in the history of fashion. For more than 10 years, Procter has captured the extravagant fashion shows created by Karl Lagerfeld for renowned designers, and most notably, Chanel. Procter’s daring camerawork has allowed him to capture and illustrate the energy and magic of Lagerfeld’s iconic shows that have transformed the world of fashion.
This exclusive exhibition aligns with the launch of Procter’s Rizzoli book, “Lagerfeld: The Chanel Shows,” released on September 10, 2019. Signed copies of the book will be on sale exclusively at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris bookstore, La Librairie des Arts.
A book signing will take place on Thursday September 26, 2019 which will offer a private viewing of a ‘’Best Of’’ of the Lagerfeld Fashion shows. Invitation upon request at: info@artphotoexpo.com.
