Ritu Kumar introduces their stunning new SS20 collection, ‘Rabaari’
Indian heritage Ritu Kumar brand looks to the new decade’s first summer as an opportunity for a sartorial rejuvenation with their latest Spring/Summer 20 collection ‘Rabaari’.
The collection is inspired by the evolving textile traditions of the Rabaari group, who spend their lives honing their craft, which is reflected in the fine workmanship of the needle work, becoming the hallmark of creativity embodied in an inherently bohemian aesthetic.
Ritu Kumar’s SS20 collection is an ode to South Asia’s rich cultural heritage while reinterpreting the Rabaari philosophy, made in a rich array of colors, nature-inspired motifs and locally sourced fabrics. Prints evoking traditional patterns are infused into light and airy fabrics to complement the vivid shades of cobalt, vermillion and emerald while offsetting the earthy neutrals within the collection.
Raabari will be available in all Ritu Kumar stores in Dubai Festival City and Burjuman Mall from March 10
